The Witcher Season 2 Teaser Trailer Out, Netflix Sets December 17 Release Date

Netflix recently revealed the key graphics, premiere date and trailer for the second season of “The Witcher,” starring Henry Cavill-Starrer, which will hit Streamer on December 17th.

According to Deadline, the streamer teamed up with the developer of Cyberpunk and The Witcher CD Projekt Red for the first WitcherCon on Friday, where they revealed news about the series and the video game franchise, including a fresh look at the second Season of “The Witcher”. .

This new season follows Geralt of Rivia (Cavill), convinced Yennefer’s life was lost in the Battle of Sodden, who tries to get Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home from Kaer Morhen.

While the kings, elves, humans and demons of the continent seek supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she wields inside.

The key art they shared builds on the cryptic teaser Netflix shared in June during its Geeked Week event that teased Freya Allan’s Ciri, Mysterious Runes, and more.

The journey of production for the second season was tricky. Production stopped in November 2020 after numerous people involved in the series tested positive for COVID-19.

Just a month later, season two production was interrupted again when Cavill sustained an injury on set. Production completed in April.

‘The Witcher’ season 2 is set to premiere on December 17th. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is the executive producer and showrunner. Tomek Baginski, Jason F. Brown, Sean Daniel, Mike Ostrowski, Steve Gaub and Jaroslaw Sawko are also executive producers.
